Age to Start Guitar Lessons
Guitar Lessons for children
We have many students who begin guitar lessons around approximately 7 years old.  Several factors to take into account when considering how old to start include the child's emotional maturity and their ability to focus.  Other factors to take into consideration are whether the child has enough finger strength to press down on the guitar strings and whether their hands are large enough to wrap around the neck of the guitar.  For children younger than 7 years of age, we offer private instruction in general music with teachers that specialize in early childhood music education.

Guitar Lessons for Adults
We like to say--you are never too old to learn.  We have had students who have achieved excellent results from ages 3-97. (Yes 97!)  We have many adult students, and some even take lessons along with their kids!  We have adults who are complete beginners, some who haven't played their instrument in 20 years, and some who are more advanced students looking to take their skills to the next level.  We have a guitar teacher for every age, level, and stylistic interest.  Our guitar teachers all have proven methods and the experience to help you reach your goals.  All of our guitar instructors are highly experienced in both teaching and playing guitar.  Our teachers are reliable, experienced, patient and fun.
